NdotLight and the Invention Teacher Education Center at Busan National University of Education conducted an online NdotCAD maker workshop for approximately 15 in-service teachers. Validation by a teacher-training university and in-service educators demonstrated that NdotCAD can operate as a practical Korean 3D tool in real classroom environments, including remote instruction.

Held on August 20, the two-hour session used Zoom and NdotCAD under the theme of prototype production with 3D printing. Teachers practiced turning ideas into 3D designs and developing them into manufacturable forms.

Through collaboration with educators, NdotLight has incorporated requested features including automatic placement, magnets, alignment, multiple extrusion, and sketching on the face of a 3D object. These functions support faster and more accurate modeling within limited class time.

The remote program demonstrated that maker education can be effective online. NdotLight will continue working with researchers and classroom teachers to develop Korean maker-education content ready for practical use.
