Prompt-to-Simulation: Generating Sim-Ready Assets in Under Three Minutes

3D AI company NdotLight announced on the 26th that it will participate in the 2026 Robotics Summit & Expo, held in Boston, U.S., for two days starting on the 27th (local time), where it will showcase its AI-powered 3D generation technology. Now in its eighth year, the event is a global robotics technology conference where robotics engineers and developers from around the world share the latest technology trends. This year, approximately 6,000 industry professionals from more than 50 countries, including major global companies such as NVIDIA, are expected to attend.
At the event, Kim Sun-tae, Co-Founder and CTO (Chief Technology Officer) of NdotLight, will give a presentation titled “3D CAD AI-Based Sim-Ready Asset Generation: Technology and Use Cases” at the Engineering Theater in the exhibition hall at 3:30 p.m. on the 27th (local time).
In his presentation, Kim will focus on NdotLight’s Sim-Ready asset generation technology using TRINIX, the company’s text- and image-based 3D CAD solution.
In particular, NdotLight will demonstrate technology that goes beyond simply creating 3D shapes to generate articulated objects with complex joint structures and assign physical properties within a single integrated pipeline.
Previously, CAD modeling, post-processing, rigging, assigning physical properties, and importing models into simulators were handled using separate tools and personnel, taking anywhere from several days to several weeks. NdotLight, however, has developed an end-to-end “Prompt-to-Simulation” workflow that completes the entire process—from generating CAD-based Sim-Ready assets using only text input to applying them in a simulation environment—in less than three minutes.
Sim-Ready assets are data that can operate in virtual environments while reflecting real-world physical laws, making them a key component of digital twins and Physical AI training. Through this technology, NdotLight expects to significantly reduce the time and cost required to create simulation assets in manufacturing, robotics, and smart factory applications.
Kim Sun-tae, CTO of NdotLight, is a 3D graphics and AI expert who previously worked at Samsung Electronics’ DMC Research Center and NAVER’s CLOVA 3D AI Avatar Team. Since founding NdotLight, he has received a CES Innovation Award for the company’s web-based 3D CAD solution, the first of its kind in Korea, and has continued to showcase its proprietary CAD engine-based AI technology on global stages, including NVIDIA GTC.
